MOODY — For the monthly luncheon by the Moody Area Chamber of Commerce, a special program was put on in May in honor of law enforcement.
Since May 9 through May 15 was National Police Week, the Chamber invited St. Clair County Sheriff Billy Murray to be its guest speaker at the May luncheon.
The Chamber honored law enforcement during the luncheon. Some of the Moody Police Department officers were on hand, as well as Odenville Police Chief Glenn Walton, several deputies from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, and the Moody Area Chamber of Commerce’s (MACC) Executive Director Andrea Machen, MACC President Doshia Stein, MACC Vice President Shirley Kujan,
Members of the Moody business community were also in attendance at the event to show support to local law enforcement.
The guest speaker for the June luncheon will be Kathy Boswell, the Vice President of the Community Engagement for The World Games 2022.
