MOUNTAIN BROOK — Authorities are currently searching for a man who fled police during a traffic stop in Mountain Brook early Tuesday morning.
According to a social media post from the Mountain Brook Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by two people on the 3700 block of Montevallo Road at around 1 a.m. One of the suspects in the vehicle fled on foot and remains at large. The second suspect was taken into custody.
Authorities later learned that the vehicle the suspects fled from was stolen.
Police describe the at large suspect as a white man with blue eyes and long blonde hair, wearing a grey shirt and khaki pants.
