BIRMINGHAM — Two people were killed and a third was taken to the hospital following a Monday-morning car crash at Interstate 459 and Derby Parkway.
The two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m., according to the Birmingham Fire Department. The victim’s identities have not yet been released.
BFD has confirmed two fatalities and says a third person has been taken to UAB Hospital in critical condition.
