BIRMINGHAM — A two-vehicle accident on Saturday, June 12, claimed the life of a Center Point woman.
Aisha Lacarol Johnson, 30, was pronounced dead on the scene, just after 1:30 a.m.
The collision, according to authorities, took place when a GMC Yukon attempted to exit Interstate 59 North onto 4th Avenue South, in Birmingham, and struck a Chrysler 300 early Saturday morning.
Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates says the impact caused the GMC to roll over multiple times, ejecting Johnson.
The decedent has not been identified, as the Birmingham Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
