TARRANT — People attending the Taste of Tarrant event on Sunday, June 27, 2021, will also have the opportunity to get their COVID-19 vaccine.
The Jefferson County Department of Health will operate a clinic open from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at 1133 East Lake Boulevard, the new Tarrant City Hall. Individuals 12 and older are eligible for the vaccine.
Those interested in getting vaccinated can choose from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine. There will be a second clinic offered for those who need a second dose and the health department will share follow-up information at the clinic.
There is no need for an appointment and participants will not be required to provide ID, medical insurance or legal status. The vaccine is free to all participants.
