CENTER POINT – Center Point High School recently held a scholarship signing ceremony for seven student-athletes.
All seven signees represent the Eagles’ track and field program, which has emerged as a contender in Class 5A play.
The Class of 2021 signees include the following:
- Ambria James, Miles College
- Nickia McCary, Miles College
- Brandy Jamfi, Miles College
- Kiyla Calvin, Miles College
- Rodricus Brown, Meridian Community College

Along with the seven letters of intent, Center Point’s senior class has built a tradition of winning during its tenure at CPHS.
“The Class of 2021 has been a vital part of seven Jefferson County championship winning teams, four 5A outdoor track and field sectional runner-up championships, a state championship final four finish, three individual state champions, countless state championship medal performances, and seven scholarship recipients,” said Center Point track and field coach Preston Wilson.
