TALLADEGA — A Childersburg teen was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Eastaboga Road, about 10 miles northeast of Talladega County.
The teen was a passenger in a 2005 GMC Canyon truck that left the roadway and struck a mailbox. The driver, also a teen, was hurt and was taken to Children’s of Alabama for treatment.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the crash happened around 8:55 p.m., on Tuesday, June 6, 2021.
Troopers said the teen killed was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on the scene.
