TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club announced it will welcome Trussville City Schools Board of Education member and leadership expert Mark Sims at its next meeting.
Sims will speak to the club on Wednesday, July 14.
“Sims, a 34-year Stryker veteran, is the Director of Sales Development for Stryker’s Instrument Development,” said the Rotary’s Diane Poole, Public Image Chair. “He spent 22 years selling, and his current responsibilities include new hire training and development for the Instrument sales force. He also coordinates regional manager development programs, presentation skills, executive coaching and programs for aspiring regional managers. Sims is an instructor for the Collat School of Business at UAB and was a contributing author to the ‘Warrior Sales Monk.”
Poole added that Sims has facilitated workshops for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Buffalo Rock, University of Alabama, Miami of Ohio, and Alabama Association of School Boards.
Sims was appointed to the TCS Board of education in 2018.
The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club meets at 7 a.m. on the first through fourth Wednesday mornings of each month at First Baptist Church Trussville (128 N. Chalkville Road).
