ALABASTER — A south Alabama man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, July 10, 2021.
Derrick Wallace, 52, of Foley, was pronounced dead on the scene around 10:30 p.m.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division said the crash happened on Interstate 65, about three miles south of Alabaster.
The 2018 Kia Forte Wallace was driving struck a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox in the rear then overturned, troopers said. Wallace was ejected from the vehicle.
