TRUSSVILLE — Tractor Supply Company (TSC), the nation’s largest operator of rural lifestyle retail stores, has changed its targeted opening date for its new Trussville location.
The store will go into part of the former location of Kmart, in the Trussville Shopping Center, off Chalkville Mountain Road. Mayor Buddy Choat said TSC will be on the gardening side of the location. Ollie’s will be another store at the location and a third spot will also be available in the large building. That spot will likely be a Crunch Fitness.
The company originally planned to open the Trussville store in late June 2021. However, that opening has been rescheduled for Nov. 20, 2021.
TSC has over 1,800 stores, including Moody, Gardendale and Chelsea. The stores supply basic maintenance products for homes, land, pets and animal owners. Products include clothing, equine and pet supplies, tractor/trailer parts and accessories, lawn and garden supplies, sprinkler/irrigation parts, power tools, fencing, welding and pump supplies, riding mowers and more.
