TALLADEGA — A woman was killed Sunday in a crash 10 miles north of Talladega.
Jodie Polarie, 50, of Cropwell was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevy Trailblazer she was driving left Cheaha Road, struck several trees and caught fire.
The crash happened around 3:25 a.m.
Polarie was pronounced dead on the scene. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) continue to investigate.
