STEELE — Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are investigating a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a St. Clair County man.
Ronnie Boatwright, 76, of Steele, was operating a Kubota ATV when he was hit by a car on St. Clair County 42.
Troopers said the car left the roadway for an unknown reason and collided with the ATV. Boatwright was pronounced dead on the scene.
