HOOVER — A Maylene man has died after a single-vehicle crash in Hoover on Friday, July 30, 2021.
Cortland Richard Dusseau, 73, was driving a Buick LaCrosse in the northbound lane of Interstate 459 when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a ravine. The wreck happened near the Galleria Boulevard exit.
Dusseau was not found until Saturday and he was pronounced dead on the scene, according to Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates.
The cause and circumstances surrounding the wreck are being investigated by the Hoover Police Department.
