OAKMAN, Ala. — Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life of a child.
The crash happened on Thursday, Aug. 19, around 7:45, two miles north of Oakman on Alabama 6.
A 10-year-old girl from Jasper was the passenger of a Chrysler 300 that collided head-on with a Toyota Camry.
Four others were hurt in the crash. Two adults were transported to UAB Hospital and two juveniles were transported to Children’s of Alabama. There is no word on their condition.
