TRUSSVILLE — The owners of the new Pet Supplies Plus, located at 1672 Gadsden Highway in Trussville, have delayed the opening date for the store.
The store was originally supposed to open at the end of November this year, but because of a construction delay, the new projected opening date is sometime in February of 2022.
The location, in The Promenade at Tutwiler Farm shopping center, is the location of the former LifeWay Christian store that closed in 2019. Barry Chase Foster and Terri Noe McPherson are opening the store.
Pet Supplies Plus is the nation’s third-largest pet retail store. It is based out of Livonia, Michigan. According to its website, the chain features a large selection of natural food and treats made in the USA. The store also offers grooming and bathing.
Customers can shop in-store or online using curbside pickup or same-day delivery.
Pet Supplies Plus has locations in Homewood and Pelham.
