FAYETTE, Ala. — A 79-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision Wednesday, near Fayette, Alabama.
Judy Halbrook, of Bankston, was driving a 2005 Hyundai Sonata that was hit by a 2010 Dodge Ram. Troopers said the driver of the Dodge crossed the centerline and entered into Halbrook’s lane.
Halbrook was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 102, approximately 10 miles northeast of Fayette. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
