HOOVER — Police here have charged a 15-year-old boy with two counts of terrorist threats after social media posts seemed to target the Hoover and Spain Park high school football teams.
“Because the threats were related to both Hoover and Spain Park high school events, the case was presented to juvenile magistrates in both Jefferson and Shelby counties,” the Hoover Police Department wrote in a Facebook post. “The suspect was taken into custody and the case will be heard in Juvenile Court. Because this case involves a minor, no further information will be released.”
