ODENVILLE — St. Clair County High School and Odenville Middle School will close for a week due to COVID-19 protocols.
“This means that grades 7-12 will be virtual next week (September 7th through September 10th),” the message states. “Students will return to face-to-face learning on Monday, September 13.” September 6 is Labor Day and school will not be in session that day.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, there have been 700,000 cases of COVID-19 in the state, with 12,283 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020.
