BIRMINGHAM — The search is underway for a fourth person in connection to a quadruple shooting and police chase on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.
A vehicle police were searching for in connection to the shooting was spotted by officers and they attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over and a chase ensued. The car crashed into a ravine near Tarrant-Huffman Road, at Linthicum Street, in Tarrant.
Three men were taken into custody from the vehicle but a fourth man took off on foot and has not been captured. A perimeter was set up and the man was not found. He is described as a black male, with a brown complexion. He was wearing a white T-shirt with a black emblem near the collar, black pants, and black shoes. Police believe he is armed.
The three men taken into custody are being questioned by police.

One of the men killed has been identified as Reginald Curtis Crawford Jr., 26, of Birmingham. The identity of the second victim has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
