BIRMINGHAM — As hospitals across the state battle rising cases of COVID-19 and unprecedented staffing challenges, efforts continue to encourage vaccinations.
Toward that end, Lawson State Community College will host a vaccination clinic at the Birmingham Campus on September 9, 2021, in the Academic Success Center room 160.

Further, there are 66 COVID-19 patients in ICU; 61 are unvaccinated. The hospital also reported that of 51 patients on vents, 47 of those are unvaccinated.
