ETOWAH COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Gadsden toddler on Friday, September 17, at 9:50 a.m.
The driver of the Camry was 33-year-old Tenisha Rochae Timmons. Reports state that both the driver and the child were not wearing seat belts or adequately restrained and were ejected from the vehicle.
The toddler was pronounced dead at the scene, and Timmons was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the Kenworth was not injured.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
