BIRMINGHAM — The Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation’s Inaugural Together in Teal Butterfly Release has been cancelled due to rainy weather.
The Together in Teal Butterfly Release was scheduled for Sunday, September 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Vulcan Park. The event was planned to honor the women whose lives have been impacted by ovarian cancer. Together in Teal would have featured live music from Wellington Avenue, beautiful views of Birmingham, and the release of hundreds of butterflies.
Just like the flutter of a butterfly’s wings, the signs of ovarian cancer can seem so slight.
