JEFFERSON COUNTY — At the request of the Pleasant Grove Police Department, special agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation are investigating an officer‐involved shooting, which involved officers with the Pleasant Grove Police Department.
The incident occurred on Thursday, Sept. 23, at approximately 6:15 p.m. One subject, identified as Charles Curtis Warren, 41, was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. No officers were injured.
Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing. Once complete, the findings will be turned over to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office – Bessemer Division.
