LEEDS — Leeds City Schools Superintendent shared that State Rep Dickie Drake dropped by schools here earlier this month to help with funding for various needs across the school system, including a $5,000 check to Leeds High School.
“Leeds truly owes our friend, Rep. Dickie Drake, a huge thank you for all he does for our community,” Moore stated in a social media post. “Today he’s making rounds to the schools with an appropriation … this is how we manage to have a little extra.”
The funds will go computers, professional development and a drivers’ ed car for Leeds High students.
