TALLADEGA COUNTY — A three-vehicle crash on Thursday, October 7, at approximately 6:34 p.m. has killed a Talladega man and injured two more.
According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Charles Lavelle Bolt, 46, was killed when the 2003 Ford Windstar he was driving struck a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by Kelvin Parez Groce, 48, of Lincoln and a 2017 Toyota Rav4. The crash occurred on Plant Road approximately five miles west of Talladega, in Talladega County.
Bolt was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, Michael Allen Hilyer, 58, of Sylacauga, and a passenger were both injured and transported to Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
