BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified a Birmingham man that was shot and killed before he drove his vehicle into three other parked vehicles around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 10.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s office, Christian Deon Raspberry, 20, was shot during a reported assault and subsequently crashed into multiple parked vehicles. Officers were called to an apparent accident, but once officers were on the scene, they located Raspberry in his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Raspberry was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide therefore, all questions regarding the circumstances surrounding the death should be made to the Birmingham Police Department.
