Webster said this is the third year that the City of Clay has hosted the Clay Fall Festival, and each year the festival grows. He explained last year, the festival had more than 500 people show up to experience the fall festival.
“The fire department to be here, and they’ll have their smokehouse that you can go through, they’ll have the fire engine here that the kids can get your picture made in,” Webster said. “I think we’re going to have if they can make it, we’re going to have the petting zoo, but it’ll be fun. It’s a couple hours of fun.”
Webster explained that this event is an excellent way for the community to come together safely and enjoy each other’s company.
“It’s good for the city to have something for everybody to get together every once and a while,” Webster said.
After the festival ends, there will be a firework show at 7:30 p.m. for everyone to enjoy. Webster said that you don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to bring your family to a great event with a lot of activities for the family to appreciate.
There is something for everyone; whether it be bouncy houses, hot dogs, candy, or fireworks, there will be excitement everywhere you look. So, gather all the ghouls and goblins and come out to the Clay-Chalkville High School Football Field for a little Halloween fun.
