BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department reports an active search is underway for a suspect who escaped from police custody.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, Kameron Connell, 28, of Birmingham, was taken into custody on Sunday, October 31, 2021, following a domestic disturbance call. He was transported to the Birmingham City Jail (425 6th Avenue South) pending domestic violence-related charges.
While at the City Jail, Connell escaped from police custody. He was last seen wearing the following: black, white, and orange jacket, grey shirt, black athletic pants with “skull” near the left ankle, and white high-top Nike Air Force One’s sneakers. Connell is said to be 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and around 170 pounds.
If anyone observes Kameron Connell, Birmingham Police Department ask they call 911 immediately. Do not approach Kameron Connell as he is considered dangerous. Callers can remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
