MARION COUNTY — A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Monday, November 1, claimed the life of a Hodges woman.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Kathy J. Howard, 60, was fatally injured when the 2012 Nissan Altima she was driving entered a curve and ran off the roadway before it overturned. The crash occurred approximately six miles north of Hamilton on Alabama 187 near the 4-mile marker.
Howard was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
