BIRMINGHAM — 2020 Miss USA, Asya Branch, joins prison fellowship in event to Benefit Angel Tree Children in the greater Birmingham area on Thursday, November 4, beginning at 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Prison Fellowship®, the nation’s largest Christian nonprofit serving prisoners, former prisoners, and their families, is hosting the current Miss USA, Asya Branch, at an Angel Tree® at The Church at Brook Hills 3145 Brook Highland Pkwy in Birmingham.
Miss USA will address close to 100 Prison Fellowship Angel Tree children who currently have an incarcerated parent in the Birmingham area. They will also dedicate time for the children to make crafts with Branch.
Branch’s father was incarcerated when she was young, and ever since, she has been promoting her passion for criminal justice reform and working to see legislation pass at the city, state, and federal levels. Having a strong mentality has allowed her to be a life coach and trendsetter without second-guessing herself. Branch is a proud owner of a growing cosmetic brand, the 6th of 8 siblings, and she strives every day to set an example for everyone she encounters.
