TRUSSVILLE — Trussville Police Department has issued a warrant on October 25, 2021, for the arrest of a suspect who is attempting to elude the police.
According to the Trussville Police Department, officers performed a traffic stop on a Honda Accord driven by Demarco Decarie Gray, 29, for having a suspended driver’s license on October 25, 2o21, at 11:56 a.m. The traffic stop occurred on I-59 South just past exit 141.
Reports stated when officers requested the driver’s license, Gray handed them his Alabama non-driver ID card. Officers then asked Gray to step out of the vehicle for driving with a suspended license, and at the time, Gray put the car in drive and fled the scene.
The responding officer began a pursuit, but it was later terminated around the 144-mile marker due to safety concerns.
Trussville Police Department has issued an outstanding warrant for Gray’s arrest for attempting to elude police.
