TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club has named its Don Haisten Student and Teacher of the Month for November.
Cesar Perez-Romo, a senior at Clay-Chalkville High School, is a member of Health Occupations Students of America, National Honor Society, baseball, and a past participant of the science Olympiad. He has received the academic award since 10th grade and also Student of the Month. He passed his Patient Care Technician (PCT) test to get his certification. He enjoys reading, helping his neighbors with common chores, playing board games with his siblings, helping his dad with car repairs, and helping his siblings with their homework.
Cesar chose as his Teacher of the Month, Farah Bridges.
“She helped me study for the PCT exam, encouraged me to join HOSA, and helped me to have a clear mindset about what profession to study for in college,” Perez-Romo said.
Each recipient received a gift card compliments of Full Moon BBQ and the Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club.
Full Moon BBQ sponsors the program. Each honoree will receive a gift card provided by Full Moon Bar-B-Q and the Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club. The Club meets at 7 a.m. on the first through fourth Wednesday mornings of each month.
