JEFFERSON AND ST. CLAIR COUNTIES — Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 15, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the right lane of I-20 eastbound for Paving Work between the Leeds exit (Milepost 140) and just east of the Brompton exit (Milepost 148).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, November 15.
This same lane closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16 through Friday, November 19.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
