BIRMINGHAM — A Springville woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on Sunday, November 28, at approximately 5:57 p.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the 36-year-old victim was one of two pedestrians struck by a motor vehicle while crossing Roebuck Parkway at the intersection of Gadsden Highway in Birmingham.
The victim was transported to UAB Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Jefferson County Coroner William Yates says the woman has been positively identified, but the family has not yet been notified of the death.
