BIRMINGHAM — Two men are dead, another is injured after two separate shootings occurred on Saturday, December 4.
Robinson said authorities believe the victim was shot hours before he was discovered. Authorities ask if anyone heard or saw anything between Friday night and Saturday morning to call the police.
He was pronounced dead on the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service.
Another call came into the police of a report of two people shot around 8 a.m. at the 3500 block of 17th Avenue North.
When officers arrived, they located two males suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three people have been detained for questioning. The homicides, though close in proximity, are not believed to be related.
