TRUSSVILLE — Finding a convenient bank for an individual’s daily needs is essential, but knowing your bank is something most people don’t think about when creating a bank account. Most banks are similar in how they operate, but when it comes to the relationship a person builds with a bank, that’s where Bryant Bank sets itself apart. Bryant Bank puts the community first, they are not just a bank, but they are the friend you call when you are in need. Bryant Bank cares because the details, exceptional customer service, personal relationships, and customer success matter.
Bryant Bank’s mission is to share its financial knowledge and experience with fellow Alabamians so that families have the opportunity to get ahead, businesses grow, and its community thrives. Simply put, Bryant Bank cares because Alabama is its home, too.
Bryant Bank Trussville City President Jeremy Tuggle said that Bryant Bank wants to know their customers, and they want customers to recognize each Bryant member as a reliable member of the community. He explained that you’re going to know who Bryant is, “you’re going to know the person, you’re going to be able to contact a specific individual to help walk you through whatever it is that you’ve got going on.”
“One of the more important things is to know who your banker is, don’t just have an 800 number, have a person that you can call, because unfortunately, at some point, there’s likely to be an issue,” Tuggle said. “When that happens, you want to be able to call somebody and not just a service line.”
Founded in 2005, Bryant Brank proudly operates 18 branches located in five of the six largest metropolitan markets in Alabama: Huntsville, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Mobile, and Baldwin
County. Bryant offers personal, business, and mortgage banking services as well as Treasury Management services, correspondent banking, and capital markets.
Tuggle said Bryant Bank is different because they don’t have a lot of branches, “we’ve got one here in the Trussville area. So for us, you know, we have to trade on relationships.” So when somebody comes to Bryant Bank, the employees want to know who they are; they want the customers to know who they can count.
Tuggle explained they have to be different.
“We don’t have a building on every corner,” Tuggle said. “So our service has to be above everybody else. One thing that I would say when people are making that choice is sometimes you can overlook the importance of the relationship. Then when something goes wrong, and you need to call somebody, you don’t necessarily have a person to call.”
To be legendary, Bryant Bank puts care into action and works hard each day so that every Alabamian can experience a financially stable future. While banking will change and communities will grow, Bryant Bank’s traditional culture will remain consistent as it embraces innovation and change together.
Bryan Bank understands what being a strong leader means. The strongest leaders lead by example and show a genuine interest in those that they are leading. It creates a buy-in from the staff that facilitates bringing out their best. If you’re getting the best from Bryant Bank, you are already ahead of the game.
“We’re in this community,” Tuggle said. “So we sponsor a lot of events, not just with writing a check, we show up. Like the Christmas parade, we’ll be out there giving out hot chocolate. We’re sponsoring chamber events, and we show up to work those events because all of us live here in this community, and that part of our job is to give back.”
Tuggle explained that Bryant Bank’s relationships will be built on trust and communication because family is at the heart of what matters most. In addition, Bryant Bank does everything with exceptional ethics and integrity in mind and always offers sound advice and honest evaluations.
“We’ve got a customer, they come in, they trust us, and we’re able to give them advice on what we think is best for their situation, and not be conflicted,” Tuggle said.
Most banks are shifting towards technology as a way that they do banking, so there are app-based programs out there. Tuggle explained that people see bigger banks and think that they are going to have everything that a smaller bank won’t have.
“One thing that we’ve done is we’ve kept our technology up to date, to where you know, anything that you can get at a big bank, you can get right here,” Tuggle said. “So we’re not necessarily trading on a product offering, but we do have to stay up to date with what’s out there. So our competitors don’t get ahead of us. Anything that you can find in the big bank, you can find here, we just feel like the relationship side sort of sets us apart from our competitors.”
