JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the man found dead in the woods on Saturday, January 1, around 11:48 p.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Robert Leon Doss, 36, of Bessemer, was found by an ATV rider on a wooded trail in the Concord area.

“The death is being investigated as a homicide,” Deputy Coroner William Yates said.
