According to the Cahaba Building Co-Owner Bo Watkins, the building was a redevelopment project that will bring new life to a historic site while preserving Trussville’s history. The Cahaba Building offers 28 private offices and complimentary amenities for tenants. In addition, members with the Cahaba Building will have access to conference rooms, coffee and printing, a rooftop patio, 24/7 office access, fiber internet, views of the public plaza, and access to all of the new restaurants, breweries, and entertainment that downtown Trussville has to offer.
“The Cahaba Building will offer small businesses, entrepreneurs, and remote workers the opportunity to live, work and play in a family-oriented community close to home,” Watkins said. “We’re excited to be a part of a bigger redevelopment of Trussville and bring a first-of-its-kind office concept to the area.”
The Cahaba Building is located on the corner of Highway 11 and North Chalkville Road. A new entertainment development is being completed within walking distance to the Cahaba Building.
With a vested interest in the community, Trussville residents Co-Owner Brice Falkner and Watkins partnered with Ryan Harbuck and Mark Hancock of Hancock Construction, and Justin Collier Architect to bring the project to life. The joint venture will serve as owners and managers of The Cahaba Building.
“Living in Trussville, it was important to us to contribute an asset that would benefit the community and fulfill a need,” Falkner said. “We believe the surrounding businesses will profit from our tenants as they eat and shop in the area.”
Justin Collier Architect is the designer, and Hancock Construction is the builder of the facility.
