Murl Keith Davidson, 78, of Pinson, passed away on January 21, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Murl and Daisy Davidson, and wife, Helen Davidson. He was a 1961 graduate of Hewitt Trussville High School and received his degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
After serving in the United States Army as an aircraft mechanic, he had a long career as a draftsman and technical designer for many industrial firms in the Birmingham area. He was an automotive enthusiast who prized his 1936 Plymouth and was a railroad aficionado to the end.
He is survived by his daughter Sheryl Davidson (Lori), son Nathan Davidson (Tiffany), brother Stephen Davidson (Anne), granddaughters Taylor Wasmer and Eva Davidson, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, close family members, and friends, all of whom he loved dearly.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Face masks and social distancing are respectfully requested.
