CLAY — Clay-Chalkville High School (CCHS) wins big at the 2022 Alabama Scholastic Press Association State Convention on Friday, February 11.

CCN-TV earned the distinction of All-Alabama, the highest ranking in scholastic broadcast journalism, at the virtual state convention.
CCHS also won first place for editing “Halloween Treats” (Author: Tiffany Davis, Publication: Cougarcast). Third place in the Directing category for Cougarcast (Author: Elizabeth Whitley, Publication: Cougarcast).
CCHS tied for third place in the Newscast (Anchor) Award category with Thompson High School (Author: Autumn Bryant; Katelyn Musso). CCHS also tied for honorable mention with Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Academy for the Broadcast Award category (Author: Samantha Nesbitt; Jaaliyah Kimbrough).
Last year Clay-Chalkville High School took home the coveted Spirit Award.
