TRUSSVILLE — Hewitt-Trussville head basketball coach Jeff Baker has stepped down from the program he’s led for the past four seasons.
“I am thankful for the opportunity to lead the program for the past four years,” Baker said. “I am so grateful that God gave me this opportunity to coach at such a great place and to coach at the highest level that Alabama high school basketball has to offer.”
Hewitt-Trussville will now begin its search for its next basketball coach.
“I appreciate all the positive contributions Coach Baker has made in our program over the past four years,” said Trussville City Schools athletic director Lance Walker. “We wish him and his family the best moving forward.”
Baker was previously head coach at Restoration Academy in Fairfield, where he won two AISA state championships.
