UPDATE: All lanes on Interstate 20 at the 178-mile marker are now open.

TALLADEGA COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash has caused a lane closure on I-20 Eastbound in Talladega County on Tuesday, February 22, at approximately 9:36 a.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the ALEA Highway Patrol Division was notified of a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 eastbound near the 178-mile marker.
The center and outside lanes will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is on scene assisting with traffic control.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traveling through this area. ALEA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
