Kathleen (Kat) Pendleton was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 19, 2022, at the age of 86.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kathleen, and she always had an extraordinary ability to find happiness in any situation. The overwhelming peace she held was built on a strong foundation in her love for her Lord, Jesus Christ, which quickly became a testimony to all those around her – the children for whom she raised; the animals for which she loved; the plants she loved to care for.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brother John Pendleton, and her son, Jimmy Honeycutt. She is survived by her five daughters and one son; Kathy Longacre (James), Sherry Hearn (Alan), Johnny Honeycutt (Julia), Becky Nappier, Denise Bryant (Tim), and Tammy Lang (Matt). As well as a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, located at 1591 Gadsden Hwy. Birmingham. Visitation will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with the ceremony following.
