BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday, February 23.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner Office, Richard Carl Minyard, 64, was the driver of a motor vehicle traveling west on Brookside-Coalburg Road when for unknown reason(s), the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Brookside-Coalburg Road in Birmingham.
Minyard was transported to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
