BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation of a 26-year-old shot and killed on Tuesday, March 1, just before 4:30 p.m.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced Hill dead.
“The preliminary investigation indicates KeAyron Hill was involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect before he was shot,” Sergeant Rodarius Mauldin said. “The suspect fled the scene in an unknown make and model vehicle.”
No arrests have been made at this time.

This is Birmingham’s 26th murder investigation of 2022, with one justifiable death investigation.
