TRUSSVILLE — Hewitt-Trussville’s club lacrosse team scored a season-high 19 goals and held Thompson to a single point in the team’s best performance to date.
There were 10 different players who scored for Hewitt-Trussville.
Lillian O’Neal scored four times, while Lili Gaarrett added three goals of her own. Chloe Martin, Landry Watson, Hadley Ekonen and Madi Headly each scored twice. Zoe Uptain, Hannah Russell, Ada Weems and Addie Duckett each scored once.
Taylor Fleeman in goal held Thompson scoreless in the first half. Solveig Sugden took over in goal for the second half and only gave up 1 goal.
The team’s next game is Tuesday, March 8 at home against Oak Mountain at 6 p.m. The team plays its home games at the Trussville Athletic Complex at the youth football stadium.
