Nanette’s love in life was Jesus first. Her favorite verse was Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” After Jesus, Nanette loved watching Alabama football, Atlanta Braves baseball, and playing golf with her husband and her family. Nanette was a talented seamstress and embroiderer. She worked twenty years at Robin’s Sewing Shoppe and managed the Hancock kiosk location for twelve years. During Nanette’s time at the Hancock kiosk, she taught many types of sewing classes and embroidery software classes. She even came up with the idea to have a sewing café in the classroom so that customers could come to use BERNINA sewing machines and have help on different projects. Nanette was a vital member that contributed to Robin’s Sewing Shoppe, obtaining BERNINA dealer of the year on three different occasions. She has been dearly missed by many customers over the past five years.
