BIRMINGHAM — An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a Bessemer man at a Biker Bar on Saturday, February 25, just before 1 a.m.
According to the Birmingham Police Department (BPD), Ernando Dorsey, 44, of Birmingham, was arrested in Calera on Friday, March 18, by the United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.

“On Monday, March 7, 2022, Birmingham Police Detectives presented information on the case to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office,” Officer Truman Fitzgerald stated.
After an assessment of the information, detectives obtained the following warrants: murder ($1,500,000 Bond), two counts of attempted murder ($60,000 Bond on each charge), and domestic violence assault third degree ($3,000 Bond).
Dorsey is currently in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
