TRUSSVILLE — Doug Marshall from Presbyterian Home for Children in Talladega joined the Trussville Day Break Rotary Club earlier this week to share the good news about how the Home provides a place of healing, a path filled with hope, and a way to a brighter future to at-risk children and families from across the state.
“Having the opportunity to increase the awareness about Presbyterian Home for Children and the life-affirming work we do means the world to our organization,” Marshall said. “Thank you to Trussville Day Break Rotary for hosting us today.”
Marshall also invited the community to support the upcoming Sweet Home Soiree to be held on April 2 at The Club in Birmingham. The event will honor the late Tom Winter and his wife Patti and their ministry through the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley.
“Both Tom and Patti always modeled immeasurable love in action for at-risk children, youth, and families over a lifetime of service in addition to being generous and devoted supporters of the Home,” Marshall said.
The event will feature a plated dinner, live music, silent auction, and live auction. For more information on the event, visit https://shsbirmingham.swell.gives/.
