IRONDALE — Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr. will host Irondale’s first Young Entrepreneurs Day on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Shades Valley High School Gymnasium. More than 24 young vendors, ages 9 to 20, have signed up to participate in the event. Stewart will award a $500 Entrepreneurial Scholarship to the Top Business in each of three age divisions.
Members of the public are invited to come out to support Irondale’s youngest small business owners by purchasing art, jewelry, custom apparel, baked goods, beauty products, and more. Some vendors will also be showcasing and booking appointments for photography, handyman, and DJ services.
